This systematic review, published in Climate Policy, shows that there are opportunities to design carbon pricing to improve health outcomes, including through targeted use of revenues to improve food security, subsidise healthier diets or promote active transport. The study highlights that implementing carbon pricing as part of broader policy mixes with a focus on equity, is crucial to achieving health co-benefits.
